Quality Microfiber is a synthetic blend of microscopic polyester and nylon (polyamide) yarn that is 0.2 denier (single fiber is approximately 1/20" the diameter of a strand of silk). During the manufacturing process the yarn is split to produce spaces between the wedge-shaped polyester and the nylon core. This increased suface area and the unique fiber structure gives microfiber the abilities to collect and hold dust, dirt, oil and grease. This filament is strong and lint-free and may be used on any surface.
